The Company:

Our client is a leading and established manufacturer with a strong reputation for providing innovative technical safety critical products. The company recognises the importance of a modern IT infrastructure to ensure it keeps pace with market requirements. This role is required to oversee a busy IT support function and to ensure it delivers against key project milestones.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate must have a proven track record of people management, be able to quickly adapt into the company's environment and have experience of delivering complex strategic IT projects to required timescales. You will work closely with the key stakeholders of the business and therefore be able to present at senior level, whilst also being 'hands-on' to ensure the IT team is fully supported in meeting their objectives.

The Profile:

• Currently operating as a senior IT leader and experienced within a manufacturing environment, including experience of managing change.
• IT experience to include ERP system knowledge and other IT infrastructure associated with a manufacturing company operating across multiple sites.
• Strategic IT experience and capability of operating at ‘Group’ level.
• People leadership experience; extensive and good track record of managing technical teams including local and 3rd party supplier management.
• Demonstrable experience of delivering strategic IT projects.
• Great interpersonal and people skills with the ability to deal with internal/external customers and IT suppliers/partners at all levels.
