Founded in the late 90’s, this UK-based manufacturer is best known for its durable, transparent, and stackable storage boxes that come in a wide range of sizes and colours. The company has quickly grown into one of the world’s largest suppliers of this product range. Today, the business continues to focus on innovation, customer-driven design and affordability while growing its global presence.

 

Role Overview:

We are looking for a purpose driven, ambitious and growth orientated Maintenance Leader who is accountable for overseeing machinery across 2 sites, ensuring optimal performance and preventing disruption to manufacturing operations. The successful applicant will also collaborate with service providers to coordinate and resolve maintenance requirements, while leading fault diagnosis, corrective actions and detailed reporting.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively monitor and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
  • Conduct running repairs as required to downtime to a minimum.
  • Diagnose equipment faults and resolve issues within designated parameters and timeframes.
  • Demonstrate strong self-management and initiative.
  • Liaise directly with external service providers for equipment issues that cannot be resolved in-house.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all production machinery as well as the facilities across both manufacturing sites.

 

The Person:

  • Qualified in electrical principles.
  • Multiskilled engineer with a broad technical skill set.
  • Experienced in overseeing maintenance operations for one or more manufacturing sites.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
  • Proactive, with a strong focus on the supporting company goals and growth.
  • Demonstrated expertise in maintenance planning and execution.
