Client Overview:

Founded in the late 90’s and headquartered in Hungary, our client is a leading European producer of polymer compounds. With production capacity of around 130,000 tonnes per year, the company develops and manufactures polypropylene and other polymer-based compounds serving industries such as automotive, household, electrical appliances and pipe systems. Known for tailor-made solutions, high quality standards and rapid customer response, they combine innovation with sustainability by incorporating recycled and bio-based materials, advancing eco-friendly R&D and adhering to ESG reporting practices.

 

Role Overview:

The Sales and Project Manager will support in driving new business in Poland, focused upon new markets whilst use market intelligence to identify new sales opportunities in alternative sectors.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support of Polish and international customers and distribution partners, as well as acquisition of new customers
  • Managing projects from quotation to regular delivery, including collaboration with the application technology department at headquarters
  • Ensuring optimal market success in selected regions
  • Development of analyses and sales strategies for the region and support in establishing new areas of application
  • Participation in group-wide budgeting and sales planning, sales analyses, and monitoring of target achievement
  • Active participation in trade fairs, company presentations, customer visits, and meetings with existing customers

 

Person Specification:

  • Degree qualification
  • Technical background and/or very good technical knowledge
  • Proven experience in plastic sales, preferably in compounds
  • Willingness to travel
  • Success-oriented, agile, and communicative personality with strong self-motivation
  • Commitment and flexibility
  • Excellent Polish and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Excellent MS Office skills
