Senior Technical Sales Manager – Injection Moulding Machinery
Based in Netherlands

Languages: Dutch & English required | French and/or German a bonus

We are supporting a well-established and innovative manufacturer in their search for an experienced sales management professional with strong technical knowledge and a proven track record in B2B capital equipment sales.
This is a central function focused on maintaining and expanding key customer relationships within the Netherlands. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building market share and guiding customers with hands-on technical advice related to capital equipment.

 

Mission:

  • The core objective of this role is to develop, manage, and grow the local customer base, ensuring the proactive promotion and sale of the company’s full product portfolio.
  • The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager of the Benelux subsidiary, while maintaining regular interaction with senior group management at the international level.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and account management across NL, targeting new and existing industrial clients.
  • Deliver technical consultancy and tailored solutions in the field of injection moulding machinery and surrounding systems.
  • Maintain and deepen strategic relationships with local key accounts,
  • Offer process and product guidance with a deep knowledge of plastic conversion and the required equipment.
  • Analyse and respond to local market conditions while aligning with group-wide strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other regional teams and subsidiaries within the group as well as with headquarters.

 

Ideal Profile:

  • Significant B2B sales experience within plastics processing, injection moulding, or related capital equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise customers on technical systems, production challenges, and machinery solutions.
  • Experience working in or with moulding companies; specifying machinery and/ or supporting processing is highly valuable.
  • Ability to understand and advise on complex technical systems and production processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build long-term partnerships.
  • Self-driven, hands-on, and capable of working autonomously.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Language: Fluent Dutch and English (written and spoken). French and/or German are a bonus.
  • Location: Based in the Netherlands (remote working).
  • Travel: Regular travel across assigned territory.
  • Technical education (e.g. mechanical, plastics engineering or related) strongly preferred.
