Base salary range monthly 110,000 CZK 140,000 CZK

Job Purpose:
 
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and improving the operational flow of the injection moulding production area, including the management of quality, engineering (TPM) and process. Ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability in both the short and medium term. 
The role requires strong leadership to develop team members, drive process improvements, manage critical KPI’s and ensure the deployment of the company’s strategic goals within the production environment.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
People Management:
  • Lead and manage the production team, providing guidance and resolving issues in daily operations.
  • Manage training, absenteeism, shift allocation, and workforce versatility within the flow team.
  • Evaluate individual and team performance, defining development plans to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with established operational and safety standards.
  • Foster effective communication within the team and across departments.
Standards and Process:
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery, tools, and infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to established process standards in production, maintenance, and logistics.
  • Supervise warehouse flow, including logistics circuits, warehouse transfer cells, and intermediate supermarkets.
  • Manage quality control across the supply chain, from raw material suppliers to final product delivery.
  • Oversee production planning and supply chain management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain accountability for achieving key operational KPIs in line with business objectives.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive operational efficiency through regular review of performance indicators and improvement plans.
  • Lead and encourage a culture of continuous improvement, involving the team in problem-solving and innovation initiatives.
  • Implement and oversee competitiveness plans to enhance production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Product & Process Adaptation:
  • Support the industrialization of new products by contributing feedback, coordinating initial production runs, and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Value Stream (VS) Manager in developing new product offerings.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Technical degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Standardized Work, 5S, Visual Management, Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, and Ergonomics.
  • Proven background in operations management within an injection moulding or automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent in English (French and/or German is a plus).
