The Company:

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, detail-oriented, creative, thorough and customer focused Director to join their growing organization. Based at the UK site in Essex, you will play a key role in developing the operation in addition to assuming overall responsibility for quality, output, safety and people development. You will be tasked with finding innovative ways to enhance productivity whilst ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of performance and operations management to optimize productivity and employee satisfaction, through engagement and motivational leadership.

Candidate Profile: 

• Minimum BSc in one of the Sciences, Engineering or Operations Management or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Significant work experience (minimum 5 years) as a Director or senior manager
• Experience of working within a technical/engineering led manufacturer
• Strong working knowledge of performance and operations management.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and relational databases and software (e.g., ERP) would be a significant advantage.
• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills.
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
• Competent collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator.
• Able to demonstrate strength and creative approach to problem and conflict resolution.
