Service Technician Germany

Based in Germany

After an extensive training period, the Service Technical will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, failure analysis and maintenance of injection molding machines at the customer's site. They will work from a home office, with administrative support from the European headquarters in Luxembourg. This role reports to the Service Manager and the Service Coordinator for Germany.

The Role:

· Regular on-site service assignments within Germany and occasionally in neighboring countries for fault analysis, new installations, or the installation of upgrades.
· Supporting our customers in optimizing production through on-site training
· The position required frequent travel within Germany and occasionally to neighboring countries.
· In addition, you will be responsible for the follow-up of customer visits and post-customer reporting
· Ability to work independently and understand the importance of customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

· Successfully completed vocational training as an electrician / mechatronics technician or equivalent training
· Experience in control systems of electronics, hydraulics and mechatronics
· Knowledge of troubleshooting with a focus on proper working practice Knowledge of PLC control and automated systems desirable
· Good mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
· Experience as a service technician in injection molding machine construction is an advantage
· Proficiency in English - other language skills are an advantage
