Client Overview: 

A leader in providing solutions and systems to the packaging industry, supplying to over 100 countries and employing over 9000 people worldwide.

Role Overview: 

Lead and develop the quality team into a high performing group. Enable the team to provide efficient, transparent communication and to drive employee satisfaction in all aspects of quality.

Responsibilities: 

• Improvement in the quality and standardisation of processes along the value chain, using the company excellence system.
• Continuously driving the integrated management systems (Quality, Environment, Product Safety, Health and Safety and Energy) to ensure they meet customer expectations and international standards.
• Identifying, evaluating and implementing optimisation in production to ensure sustainable quality improvements, as well as the creation and application of best practices, e.g. to standardise and roll-out processes.
• Achieve set goals for defined departmental and quality metrics at the site.

Candidate Profile: 

• Degree educated in engineering principles.
• Proven experience leading a quality team.
• Strong ability to communicate and interact with colleagues at all levels within the company.
• Excellent leadership skills, including in cross-functional teams.
• Results-oriented way of working to prioritise multiple tasks and complete them on time.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Fluent in German, English is desirable.
