Based in Nashville

Responsibilities:

· Conducts full evaluation of the efficiency, speed, and part quality of a complete system process from pellet to pallet
· Works with regional service to ensure customers are achieving the best possible running conditions of our products
· Ensures mechanical production readiness of our products is completed and that customer satisfaction is maintained
· Assumes complete ownership of injection molding systems from pellet to pallet;
· Solves diverse engineering problems with all products building an injection molding system
· Confers with engineers to implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions
· Maintains mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles
· Interacts with the call center, engineering and customers to document and resolve mechanical problems with the company’s injection molding system
· Submits continuous improvement initiatives towards product or process
· Trains new team members, customers, and regional service representative to correctly start-up and troubleshoot mechanical equipment and reads and interprets electrical, hydraulic and mechanical drawings.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering or a related field and 4 years’ experience in a Service Engineer, Service Technician, Mechanical Engineer or related occupation in the injection molding industry.
· Production of PET Preforms, or Closures using HDPE or Production of Closures using HDPE and PP or Production of Medical components using resins such as COC and PP
· Reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic and mechanical drawings.
· Troubleshooting and repairing injection molding systems including molds, machine and related auxiliary devices such as resin handling and conditioning equipment
· Troubleshooting Processing related issues that impact part quality and system efficiency
