Operations Manager

European market leader in the production of printable thermoplastic sheets and coils.  They offer a wide range of semi-finished products for the graphic arts markets, such as stationery, promotional communication, display, labels, and advertising packaging.

Fully responsible for leading the factory including all production related departments and activities: production, health, safety & environment, quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership of all local production and logistics staff.
• Collaboration and support in budget preparation and control.
• Coordination and control of internal and external service providers.
• Accountable for achieving budget, performance, sustainability & cost targets.
• Staffing and training of key production employees.

Candidate Profile:

• University education in Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading teams inside production departments.
• Experience of plastics is an advantage but not essential.
• Detailed knowledge of plant and manufacturing operations.
• Collaborative, approachable and mentoring people leadership skills.
