Global Supply Chain Director
Our client is a young and fast growing global technology leader, manufacturing bio-based and biodegradable polymer made from annually renewable resources. Within their Global Leadership team, they currently have a requirement for an experienced Global Supply Chain Director.
The Supply Chain Department consists of the customer service teams across the globe and
includes logistics. All in all you are a role model and show us the way to sustainable innovation when it comes to supplying our customers at the highest level of quality and enabling your team to do better than they imagined they could ever do.
Responsibilities:
- Supply planning, inventory management, transport, and logistics activities.
- Ensure the right products are at the right place at the right time.
- Drive to improve the performance of the team, of the systems utilized.
- Cost efficiency of the supply chain both in both working capital and operating costs.
- Develop the medium and long-term strategy for the supply chain function.
Candidate Profile:
- Expert level on supply chain aspects.
- 8-12 years supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working in the plastics / polymers sector is a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, strong communication and influencing skills.
- Proactive and decisive, cultural awareness, excellent interpersonal ability.
