Our client is a recognised leader within the trade and distribution sector, specialising in the global supply of plastic raw materials and chemicals.
Supporting sustained levels of growth, your main responsibility will be to target customer within injection moulding, extrusion, film and compounding industries.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting for new clients and development of our existing clientele.
- Develop and increase sales volumes of engineered plastics products.
- Development of the local distribution network.
- Management of trading operations.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for selected targets and pro-actively contribute to business development activities.
- Negotiating and setting of the material pricing.
- Monitoring and supervision of the logistical processing of sales and supply orders from suppliers.
Candidate Profile:
- A bachelor’s degree minimum or a master’s degree in international trade or related subjects is desirable.
- Previous experience, knowledge and skills of products and processes associated with the plastics industry, and engineering products.
- Excellent communication.
- Problem solving and decision making.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Fluent English.
