Position Overview:
As a Technical Support and Business Development for adhesive packaging in EMEA region, you are responsible for providing technical assistance to packaging converters in the effective use of allnex's products and solutions. The primary focus area will be on flexible plastic packaging, with the possibility of expanding to include paper packaging in the future.
You will be working closely with the Packaging Adhesives Project Lead to deliver growth in adhesive applications at packaging converters.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers for packaging products and solutions, and assist with troubleshooting issues.
- Identify customer needs and propose solutions within allnex's range, while developing new product/solution ideas based on market and customer needs.
- Collaborate with lab resources, analyze results, and recommend courses of action based on available chemical and engineering information.
- Execute a customer visit plan in agreement with the Adhesives Packaging Project Lead, and develop networks within allnex's global technical communities.
- Promote existing products/solutions, selectively develop new applications, and participate in trainings for distributors and agents.
- Interpret and communicate test results to cross-functional teams globally, participate in projects, and provide monthly/quarterly reports on project status and impact.
- Promote laminating adhesives technology through presentations, publications, and trade shows.
- Up to 50% travel time within EMEA region.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- An early career professional, having experience in technical services or Business development positions, preferably in the flexible packaging industry.
- Solid understanding of polymer physics and chemistry, with knowledge of flexible packaging technology and experience in the packaging value chain.
- A creative and resourceful problem-solver, balancing commercialization speed and scientific rigor in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of collaboration, networking, and teamwork in a multi-cultural environment.
