Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, challenge and direct all projects and related activities in Global R&D/TMT
  • Challenging all project leaders and projects from highest to lowest priority
  • Leading A-project managers and key project members
  • Strategic planning of technology and project roadmap
  • Being first point of contact for project related budget, resources and task allocation
  • Managing exchange between all R&D sites and customers
  • Continuous improvement of collaboration between R&D centers in Europe & Asia
  • Task and resource allocation between Europe and China delivering TMT projects
  • Continuous improvement and challenge of the SIG development process, governance and process handbook for project management

You Bring These Skills, Experience & Education:

  • Technical degree with experience in the areas of materials science, mechanical engineering, plastics technology or packaging technology
  • Further education in the field of business administration an advantage
  • At least ten years of professional experience, including three to five years of experience in a similar position
  • Proven leadership skills in matrix organizations and ability to develop organizations and their culture
  • Experience in leading international projects
  • Distinct independence, strength in implementation and solution-oriented way of working
  • Analytical holistic way of thinking and innovative strength
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally approx. 25%
