Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, challenge and direct all projects and related activities in Global R&D/TMT
- Challenging all project leaders and projects from highest to lowest priority
- Leading A-project managers and key project members
- Strategic planning of technology and project roadmap
- Being first point of contact for project related budget, resources and task allocation
- Managing exchange between all R&D sites and customers
- Continuous improvement of collaboration between R&D centers in Europe & Asia
- Task and resource allocation between Europe and China delivering TMT projects
- Continuous improvement and challenge of the SIG development process, governance and process handbook for project management
You Bring These Skills, Experience & Education:
- Technical degree with experience in the areas of materials science, mechanical engineering, plastics technology or packaging technology
- Further education in the field of business administration an advantage
- At least ten years of professional experience, including three to five years of experience in a similar position
- Proven leadership skills in matrix organizations and ability to develop organizations and their culture
- Experience in leading international projects
- Distinct independence, strength in implementation and solution-oriented way of working
- Analytical holistic way of thinking and innovative strength
- Business fluent in German and English
- Willingness to travel internationally approx. 25%
