UK Sales Manager

A family run leader in the manufacture of flexible and rigid films for the packaging industry. Among many products, they specialise in flow pack packaging, tray lids made of APET or APET PE, and vertical and stand-up bags and pouches among others.

Developing new business in the UK flexible film market by creating new accounts. Identifying and developing growth opportunities to capitalize on them, while negotiating profitable and long-lasting commercial agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
• Keeping up to date with market trends, regulations, and competitors in the food packaging industry.
• Reporting and working closely with our International Sales Director, you will be working as part of a team responsible for driving new business development in the territories of UK, Central Europe and Eastern Europe.
• Conducting phone and video conference meetings, creating proposals, negotiating and closing deals.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven sales experience selling flexible film into the food industry.
• Proven experience in cold calling, lead generation and appointment setting, and using social media platforms such as LinkedIn for prospecting.
• Proven track record in achieving new sales.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills.
