HR Business Partner

Part of a multi-national group, our client is a leading manufacturer, with a strong reputation for providing innovative solutions, to a fast paced and demanding customer base. 

The role will partner with senior leaders, to develop and execute HR plans, focused on workforce planning, employee engagement, performance and talent management.  To be successful in this role you must understand business priorities and translate them into the HR agenda, to support the long-term business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices, aligned to business objectives.
• Offer thought leadership, regarding organisational and people-related planning and deployment.
• Leading a HR team of 4, ensuring an effective and proactive HR service on site.
• Supporting management team members, on complex people management and employee relations issues.
• Ensuring key stakeholders are informed/consulted on relevant business proposals.
• Reporting and analysing HR information, ensuring reporting requirements are satisfied, through the provision of management information.
• Educate, coach and partner with managers on performance management and employee development planning.

Candidate Profile:

• CIPD qualified Level 7.
• Minimum of 7 years in a generalist HR role, with experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations, including union relations.
• Excellent attention to detail and fully conversant with MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience of mediating and successfully managing conflict resolution.
• Resilient under pressure and able to deal with ambiguity.
• Independent thinker with strong decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organisation to drive change.
• Unionised Site experience preferred.
