Business Development Manager

Listgrove is supporting Impact Solutions, a UK based accredited materials, testing, research and development laboratory, that specialises in the physical, analytical and biodegradable properties of plastics, composites and packaging materials.

The candidate will work closely with the business to set market expectations, when it comes to pricing, margin, quality, service and technical requirements. 

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop and implement market penetration, based on the definition outlined by company strategy.
• Actively maintain and develop new and existing customers globally.
• Focus on generating the project pipeline, in cooperation with regional teams and technical resources.
• Identifying new business opportunities, with the help of constant market observation.
• Managing customers’ technical and commercial needs, whilst ensuring the highest levels of service are maintained.
• Developing accounts to their optimum revenue potential.

Candidate Profile:

• Ideally experienced in a laboratory testing environment – could be with polymers/plastics/chemicals/composites.
• University degree in Chemistry or Material Science or Business Administration is a plus.
• Ability to deliver high quality accurate work under pressure.
• Proven track record of success within sales.
• Team player, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
