General Manager
An international group passionate about transforming waste into a valuable commodity and with a mission to build the world’s largest recycled plastics commodities company. Their factory specialises in the collection and recycling of plastic waste generated from industry and manufacturing.
Provide overall leadership of the plant (17 employees) with full P&L responsibility for running both commercial and operational functions.
Responsibilities:
- Lean manufacturing methodology to maximise assets and minimise waste.
- Lead and ensure adherence to all related H&S and Environmental policy.
- Proactively win new business and personally handle some key accounts.
- Work with the commercial team on new market opportunities.
Candidates Profile:
- Track record of driving growth in a plastics materials company.
- Demonstrate experience in manufacturing or site leadership.
- Demonstrate experience in sales or business development leadership.
- Financially astute – experience of running a P&L and achieving KPIs.
- Coaching and mentoring leadership style.
