This distribution business has a long history supplying a wide range of industrial chemicals, specialty chemicals and polymers for industrial production processes.   The company is now expanding its team and looking to recruit an additional Sales Manager.

Selling additives and other products to plastic and rubber customers across Scandinavia.  There is already a strong existing and loyal customer base further supported by long-term partnerships with key suppliers. The main focus of the role is to provide excellent support to these accounts and to develop new business.

 Responsibilities:

  • Grow the customer base, sales to both potential and existing customers.
  • Relationship building with customers and suppliers: acting as a link between them.
  • Responsible for pricing and offers to customers.
  • Responsible for the sales results within this market segment.
  • Business development and expanding the network.

 Candidate Profile:

  • Knowledge of the plastics/polymer industry in Scandinavia.
  • Ideally university education in chemicals and/or polymer technology.
  • Working successfully on technical projects.
  • Track records of account management, sales and business development.
  • Some experience of product development or working in a laboratory is an advantage.
