Area Sales Manager, South Germany
The business is with more than 25 years' experience a market leader in manufacturing custom-designed technical and technological components made of standard and high-performance plastic and composite materials processed with CNC machines. The customer base includes big international manufacturers of food & beverage, pharmaceutical machines and production lines.
The Area Sales Manager will provide technical advice to clients as an essential part of this role, so the ideal candidate will have a technical or engineering background, with experience in mechanical parts manufacturing and/or beverage and food machines. This position operates with a multicultural team in a remote office setting and requires the individual to travel within Germany and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales process from end to end, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals with new customers.
- Manage existing accounts, develop, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure continued business growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win new clients and to develop the sales network in Germany and DACH region.
- Provide technical advice to existing and potential clients.
- Travel as required within Germany and internationally
Candidate Profile:
- A strong background in sales and business development and technical expertise in mechanical components for beverage and food machinery.
- Technical expertise in mechanical parts CNC manufacturing.
- Proven engineering or technical biased background.
- Fluent in English and German written and spoken.
