UK Country Manager

Our client is a recognised leader within the trade and distribution sector, specialising in the global supply of plastic raw materials and chemicals.

You will play an essential part in the company’s overall goal to achieve preferred partner status within the plastics and chemicals industry. Development of a strong worldwide field presence whilst offering a broad range of quality assured products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the UK team to achieve the company’s targets and goals.
• Participate jointly with the Group Management in defining the divisions strategy and its proper application.
• Ensure the development and profitability of the UK subsidiary.
• Manage, lead, and support the entire sales, logistics and support team daily.
• Develop partnerships and strengthen external relations.                               
• Monitoring market trends and competitor analysis.

Candidate Profile:

• Knowledge and Skills of Products and Processes associated with the plastics industry.
• Excellent communication.
• Problem solving and decision making.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Leadership.
• Fluent English.
