Hybrid role but the person must be based no more than 3 hours travel time to Voderady (Slovakia)

As part of its ongoing expansion in Central and Eastern Europe, our client is now looking to strengthen its commercial team with a strategic, technically capable Sales Director who can drive new opportunities, deepen key customer relationships and lead a sales team
The Role:
The Sales Director Europe is responsible for driving commercial strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion across Europe within the masterbatch segment. This role leads the regional sales organization, strengthens key customer relationships, and ensures alignment with global business objectives.
Experience of Engineering Polymers, Masterbatch or Additives is essential

Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Growth-
Develops and executes the European sales strategy in line with global objectives
Identifies growth opportunities across key segments (automotive, packaging, construction, consumer goods, etc.)
Drives revenue, margin improvement, and market share expansion
Develops pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics and raw material trends
Owns sales forecasting and pipeline management for Europe
Provides regular performance updates to leadership
Ensures data-driven decision making
Monitors market trends, competitors’ activity, and customer needs
Translates insights into actionable business strategies
Collaborates with technology and product management teams on new product development
Leadership & Team Management-
Lead, coach, and develop the European sales team
Set clear goals and performance expectations
Build a high-performance, customer-relationship centric sales culture
Support talent development and succession planning within the team
Key Account Management / Customer Management –
Maintain and grow relationships with strategic customers across Europe
Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and long-term agreements
Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and retention
The Candidate:
10+ years of commercial experience in plastics, polymers, or masterbatch industry
Proven track record in leading international sales teams
Strong experience with B2B sales in manufacturing environments
Experience with managing key accounts across multiple European markets
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field
Fluent in English required. Additional languages are an advantage.
